We are the manufacturer of the Urban Compost Tumbler (UCT) which comes in
two models, the UCT-7 being a 7.3 cu ft unit and the UCT-9 being 9.5 cu ft; both designed with a central aeration system.

we offer significant discounts depending on the program. We would be happy to discuss
customizing a program for your organization.
URBAN COMPOST TUMBLER 9.5 (UCT-9)
This composter ships in two large boxes weighting 73 lbs.
The barrel box is 28"x26"x24" and weights 38 lbs and the stand box is 34"x11"x26" and weights 35 lbs.
The following is an example order to consider:
An order of 100 composters would sell at 50% off retail price FOB
Westminster, CA 92683 (orders of 12 to 48 composters sell at 45% off). An order of 100 composters would be on
17 pallets requiring approximately 8' x 46' of trailer space and weights a total of 7,640 lbs. The pallets are
configured as follows specified in inches of either pallet size or overhand when larger than the pallet:
8 pallets each 48W x 54L x 90H weighting 476 lbs each (12 barrels per pallet)
8 pallets each 36W x 60L x 71H weighting 440 lbs each (12 stands per pallet)
1 pallet of 36W x 60L x 60H weighting 312 lbs (4 barrels and 4 stands)
URBAN COMPOST TUMBLER 7.3 (UCT-7)
This composter ships as a barrel with the stand and components secured inside. The barrel is approximaely
38" x 23" x 23" and weights 48 lbs. The following is an example order to consider:
An order of 100 composters would sell at 45% off retail price FOB Moore, SC 29369 (orders of 16 to 48 composters sell
at 40% off). An order of 100 composters would be on
13 pallets requiring approximately 8' x 28' of trailer space and weights a total of 5,330 lbs. The pallets are
configured as follows specified in inches:
12 pallets each 48W x 48L x 88H weighting 425 lbs each (8 composters per pallet)
1 pallets each 48W x 48L x 44H weighting 230 lbs each (4 composters per pallet)
OTHER PURCHASING OPTIONS:
1. Our educational funding Drop-Ship program is for municipalities actively promoting our
composter as at least an alternative in their educational programs. These purchases can receive a 30% to 40%
discount plus our standard shipping charage to anywhere in lower 48-states based on the educational program and sales volumes.
While the actual allocation is up to the municipality, as an example, it could provide a 25% discount to the
community member and the remainder be paid to the municipality to help fund their educational program. We provide
an on-line purchasing screen allowing either the organization or their customers to make purchases at the
agreed discounted amount. We ship directly to the customer from our inventory.
2. Our standard Drop-Ship program provides a 25% discount off retail price plus our standard shipping charage to
anywhere in lower 48-states. We provide an on-line purchasing screen allowing either the organization or their
customers to make purchases at the discounted amount. We ship directly to the customer from our inventory. The
municipality or garden distribution center is expected to include our composter in their education and sales programs.
SHIPPING
Organizations making bulk purchases are encouraged to use their own shippers to insure best shipping rates. If requested the
Urban Garden Center will quote and handle shipping attempting to get the best shipping rate. Bulk orders will be charge actual
shipping costs in addition to the price of the products purchased. Shipping outside the United States must be arranged and
provided by the purchaser.
